Hot Air Ballooning in Dallas – A Majestic Point of View
Dallas is one of the largest cites in the US, with over 500,000 inhabitants. It shares a rich culture with many of its neighboring cites, and can be a fantastic place to visit if you have never been there. One great activity you can do with your loved one is take them on a hot air ballooning adventure. While it may not be as amazing as visiting the site where JFK was shot, or even as exciting as watching the Dallas cowboys take on a rival, it is by far the most romantic thing you can do in the city.
I had the pleasure of researching some of the various places you can take a balloon ride in napa ballon rides, and found that they are professional organizations dedicated to providing a safe and reliable atmosphere. It all starts generally early in the morning, with a meet and greet with the pilots who discuss the safety rules for the balloon. Then, after a light breakfast, you can actually help the crew inflate the balloon in preparation for takeoff. The reason you have to do this so early in the morning, by the way, is because this is when the winds are light and variable. There is nothing more dangerous than taking a balloon up in windy conditions.
Once the flight is under way you will swiftly move along with the winds, and I have to admit, it is a bit quiet while you are up there. Short of the roar of the engine every once in a while to keep the balloon inflated with hot air, it is basically just you and mother nature cruising the skies. After speaking with the pilot, who has over 30 years experience flying hot air balloons, I felt very relieved to be in the presence of a true professional.
One great place in the Dallas area to take a hot air balloon ride is Rohr Balloons. Located just outside the main part of the city, they have been in business for over 25 years, and have provided great adventures for thousands of people. There professional and courteous staff are available throughout the flight to make sure your experience is a memorable one.
